- Employment type: Internship
- Period: By agreement (minimum 16–20 weeks)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (day shift)
- Supervision: Dedicated internship supervisor and working alongside experienced craftspeople
What will you do?
- Shadowing and assisting with setting up and operating press brakes and laser cutting machines
- Getting to know sheet metal processing: bending, laser cutting, welding and structural work
- Working under supervision according to drawings and quality standards
- Measuring and inspecting parts; learning how deviations are identified
- Assisting with loading and unloading machines and material supply
- Participating in meetings and daily coordination within the production department
- Completing an internship assignment investigating a process or improvement (in consultation with your course and supervisor)
Who are you?
- Student on a secondary or higher vocational programme in a technical field (e.g. mechatronics, mechanical engineering or production technology)
- Enthusiastic about metalworking and curious about the trade in practice
- Accurate, eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
- Good command of Dutch, spoken and written
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- VCA Basic certified or willing to obtain it
